They are manufactured for the top end of the market and our suppliers pride themselves on the exceptional quality of their materials, using only the highest grades of Italian leather and kiln dried hardwood frames that are hand made the old fashioned way. Your furniture will be of the highest quality.
Sofa Italia are UK clearing agents. We clear surplus stocks of high quality designer leather sofas manufactured by some of the most exclusive suppliers across the globe.
We do not deal in graded or second hand goods. We supply both the trade and public and in many cases our products can be delivered next day, anywhere within the UK.
Many companies describe their products as 100% leather. Unfortunately there are huge variations in quality and just because a company describes a product as 100% leather does not mean that their furniture is 100% Nappa hide. Rest assured, the Designer leather sofas that we clear are 100% Italian full grain hides. Our suppliers do not use split, matched or faux leather on any part of their products. The use of split, matched or faux considerably reduces the cost of manufacture. However, it is also much weaker, cannot be upholstered as tight and subsequently they do not look as nice. They certainly will not last as long.
We are also more than happy to advise on frame construction. Many companies manufacture their frames using just glue and staples. Our suppliers’ frames offer superior strength as they are manufactured from only the finest kiln dried hardwood and are glued, screwed and braced to ensure they last the lifetime of the Italian full grain hide used to upholster their beautiful furniture. Some of the leather sofas that we clear have dowel joints as well as being glued, screwed and braced for ultimate strength.
Please note that our stocks are constantly changing due to the nature of the surplus market and we may have other designs not currently displayed on this website. Our customers often tell us that the pictures on our website do not do the product justice.
